Job Postings

Recruit top students and graduates

Employers may post job listings at no cost on Carthage Career Connection, our job search website powered by Purple Briefcase. Employers may search the entire database, filtering users by major, skills, job preference, and date of graduation, as well as by keyword in resumes. The system allows employers to review candidates’ resumes, manage interview schedules, and retrieve application materials. Email for the Carthage school code to use Purple Briefcase at no cost.

Find top interns

Career Services works with employers to establish high-quality internship programs. Carthage interns may work part or full time, and may work during the summer or the academic term. Successful partnerships have been established with employers of every size, including Abbott Laboratories, Accenture, the City of Kenosha, Jockey International, Kohl’s Corporation, SC Johnson, Snap-on Inc., and Walgreens.

On-campus Events

Career Fairs and Individual Recruitment Events

Carthage welcomes companies and organizations to hold recruiting events on campus. The events can be tailored to the employer’s needs so it can identify potential candidates and develop relationships with faculty and students for existing or future career opportunities. An interview room is available in Career Services.

Carthage holds an annual Fall Career & Internship Summit on campus. Staff members also assist in planning the WorkForce Career Fair sponsored by the private colleges and universities in Wisconsin, held at Wisconsin State Fair Park in Milwaukee.

Mentor and Guest Speaker Opportunities

Impact a student’s career

Career Services hosts guest speakers on employment-related topics at its Career Planning and Life After Carthage classes during January Term, as well as at special campus events. Individuals with experience in a particular field are also welcome to serve as mentors for students who are interested in that field. Companies and organizations that employ Carthage graduates can encourage them to attend the popular Alumni Networking Dinner.
