Carthage and COVID-19

Food Service

Please note: On-campus food options are open only for those few students who must remain on campus and essential campus personnel.

The Caf and all retail locations on campus (Lentz Do Lunch, Starbucks, Sub Connection, WOW Café, and Baja Fresh Express) will be closed until residence halls reopen.

Alternate Spring Housing Meal Plan

This meal plan includes a combination of meal swipes and meal kits. Under this alternate meal plan, each student who remains on campus will receive eight meal swipes per week to Einstein Bros. Bagels, which is open 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday-Friday.

In addition to the meal swipes, meal kits will be available for purchase for any student who remains on campus. Students can order up to two meal kits per week, and each meal kit provides a food supply of 1-3 days. Students can order two of the same meal kits if they choose, but cannot exceed two meal kits in total per week. The contents of each meal kit are listed in the order form, and students will have options as to what is included in their chosen meal kit. There are four meal kits to choose from to accommodate students’ dietary needs:

  • Meal Kit 1: Meat Options
  • Meal Kit 2: GF/Vegan/Vegetarian
  • Meal Kit 3: Shelf Stable Kit
  • Meal Kit 4: Noodles

Orders must be placed at least 24 hours in advance of your pick-up time. Pick up days will be Tuesdays and Fridays with the optional times of 11 a.m., noon, or 1 p.m.
