Provide grants for students to study abroad on J-Term or for the semester.
Last year, 364 students at Carthage studied abroad, either for the semester or on a J-Term study tour. Many alumni report that studying abroad was one of their most memorable experiences at Carthage. Both J-Term and semester-long experiences expose students to new perspectives and helps them gain cross-cultural competence. These experiences teach students about themselves, one another, and our world, forming lifelong bonds of friendship.
For every $500 raised, a grant will be awarded to help make one student’s dreams of studying abroad a reality. These funds will assist students bridge the financial gap in covering their study tour fees, airfare, visas, and accommodation.
Make your gift to study abroad and enable a student to learn from this critical and high-impact educational practice.
