The Office of Marketing and Communications is an award-winning team of marketers, writers, designers, media relations professionals, and digital media experts who work to tell the Carthage story in creative, impactful, and authentic ways.

We want the world to know that Carthage transforms students’ lives through distinctive learning experiences, in-demand degree programs, personal attention from distinguished faculty, and a keen focus on career and personal development. We want our ever-growing network of alumni, friends, and business partners to know that Carthage has a profound impact on Kenosha, southeastern Wisconsin, and our entire region as a premier educational institution for the region’s workforce and leaders.

Our office’s primary mission is to support recruitment, retention, fundraising, and engagement. We do this through the development and execution of annual marketing plans, and the strategic use of digital and print marketing tactics including advertising, social media, the Carthage.edu website, print pieces, public and media relations, and storytelling. Our office also provides critical communications support to campus.

Do you have a story to share with the Carthage community?

The best way to share your news is to submit your story to The Bridge. Faculty and staff submissions are published immediately. Student-submitted stories are approved by a member of the Marketing and Communications team and then published.

Submit your story to The Bridge

Submitting a story to The Bridge is also the best way to alert the Mar-Comm team to a great story that we may want to share with a wider audience. We review all Bridge submissions and select some to share with a wider audience.

The Office of Marketing and Communications wants to hear about the exciting things that are happening at Carthage. We accept submissions of articles, story ideas, photos, and videos. We share stories, photos, and videos on the Carthage website, social media, advertising, with media, and in College publications including The Carthaginian magazine.

Please send your submission to communications@carthage.edu. Please put “Story idea,” “Photo submission,” or “Video submission” in your subject line. Be sure to include a complete photo caption or video description for visual materials.
