The Fritsch Meditation Chapel is located on the north side of campus, west of Campus Drive. This beautiful, intimate chapel in a wooded environment is the perfect setting for small, quiet gatherings. Seats: 40 theatre-style
Hedberg Library Room 172
Hedberg Library Room 172 is a classroom in the lower level of Hedberg Library. It accommodates 34 people and features full media including sound DVD, VCR, projector (ceiling mount), internet ports, projection, and screen for Powerpoint. Seats: 34 classroom-style
Niemann Media Theater
Hedberg Library is located in the center of campus, west of Campus Drive. Niemann Media Theater (Room 159) accommodates 72 people theatre-style. The room features full media including sound DVD, VCR, projector (ceiling mount), projection, and screen for Powerpoint. Seats: 72 theatre-style
Campbell Student Union Auditorium
The Campbell Student Union Auditorium is located in the Campbell Student Union on the south side of campus. The auditorium seats 200 and includes a multi-purpose stage that is equipped with sound, lighting, a projector, and screen. Seats: 200
Recital Hall
The H. F. Johnson Recital Hall is located in the center of campus, adjacent to the H. F. Johnson Gallery of Art. The recital hall accommodates 120 people, theatre-style. This space includes organ and piano capability/sound, and lighting capability. It has a fixed stage. Seats: 120 theatre-style
Wartburg Theatre
Wartburg Theatre is located on the north end of campus, in the David A. Straz, Jr. Center for the Natural and Social Sciences, east of Campus Drive. The theatre is used to stage Carthage theatre, musical theatre, and dance programs. The proscenium-style theatre accommodates 400 people (fixed seating). It boasts a full 21-line fly system and newly updated light and soundboards. The proscenium opening is 38 feet wide by 15 feet high. Stage depth is 35 feet from the plaster line to the back wall. Todd Wehr Center 128s
The Todd Wehr Center 128s comprises three rooms – A, B, and C – with additional multifunctional space available. Space can be divided for smaller groups. The Todd Wehr Center has sound and lighting capability, projection capability, and computer ports. Seats: 128A – 75,128B – 120, 128C – 75 Total: 300
Todd Wehr Center Jockey Rooms
The Jockey Rooms feature beautiful views of Lake Michigan and two rooms (A and B) with additional functional space available. Rooms A and B combined will accommodate 575 people theatre-style. Space can be divided for smaller groups. Seats: Jockey A – 200, Jockey B – 175 Total: 575
A. F. Siebert Chapel
The A. F. Siebert Chapel is located in the heart of Carthage’s campus. The chapel accommodates 1,325 people in permanent theatre/auditorium-style seating. The upper chapel holds 100 people theatre-style. The chapel houses a 63-rank tracker Casavant pipe organ and two grand pianos. It can be set for a wide variety of functions, lighting, and sound capability. There is a portable stage. Seats: 1,325
N. E. Tarble Athletic and Recreation Center
The N. E. Tarble Athletic and Recreation Center (known on campus as “the TARC”) is located on the south/central end of campus, west of Campus Drive. The Field House accommodates up to 4,400 people theatre-style. The TARC offers custom sound and lighting capability, stage rigging capability, and multi-use general recreation capability.
