Carthage boasts more than 50 years of experience preparing adult learners for professional careers. Each year, more than 800 busy adults enroll in rigorous degree and certificate programs that enhance their personal and professional lives. See what Carthage has to offer.
Personal Academic Plan
At Carthage, you will receive personal academic advising and assistance. Your advisor will work with you to map out your academic plan. You will be able to see when courses are offered, the recommended sequence of courses, and the path to your degree. All advising is available by appointment, during class days, or by scheduled conference calls.
Every degree program in the Office of Continuing Studies is built for busy adults like you. For our adult undergraduate students, Carthage offers a year-round academic calendar with fall, winter, spring, and summer terms; students can begin classes at seven entry points each year. The vast majority of our adult undergraduate courses are offered in a seven-week format, combining face-to-face class sessions with online learning opportunities. Transfer students receive credits for appropriate courses taken at other institutions. Other programs offer courses on Saturdays.
