The Carthage College Enrichment Program offers affordable and convenient courses designed to meet the needs, interests, and concerns of people in today’s society. Many enrichment courses are particularly suited to educators.

Carthage enrichment courses have covered such fields as:

  • Sign language
  • Genealogy
  • Marketing
  • Yoga
  • Body language
  • Twitter
  • Storytelling
  • Media literacy
  • Creative writing
  • Inspiring students

Enrichment courses are 1-3 credits, and are available for Professional Development undergraduate or graduate credit.

For educators who have completed their licensure programs out of state, the Enrichment Program provides opportunities to meet several PI 34 statutory requirements.

Tuition Information

We are pleased to present a fee structure that offers an economical option for earning continuing education credits. Tuition is $50 per Professional Development undergraduate credit and $100 per Professional Development graduate credit. Due to the nature of this program, all credits earned are Professional Development credits that cannot be applied toward any undergraduate or graduate degree at Carthage.

Course Schedules

Classes range from weekend workshops to courses that meet weekly over several weeks.

  • Fall courses begin in mid-October and run until early December. Look for the Fall schedule in mid-September.
  • Spring courses begin in mid-March and run until early May. Look for the Spring schedule in January.
  • Summer courses begin in late June and run until early August. Look for the Summer schedule after Memorial Day weekend.

Accessing Your Records

Rather than mailing confirmations and grades to our participants, student records have been made available via our portal, Approximately one week after you register, you will need to contact Lynn Dahl at 262-551-5924 to set up your account. You will need to be at a computer with Internet access. Please allow approximately 20 to 30 minutes to complete the process.
