Family Fun Night

Carthage hosts Family Fun Nights for the community on select Friday evenings during the school year. 

Families can enjoy fun and educational activities in Hedberg Library, browse the collection in the Center for Children’s Literature, and use the library computers.

Themed activities take place from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Families are generally welcome to use the library from 6 to 9 p.m. Please note that available activities vary, due to special events happening on campus, so please call ahead.
Please note: As of January 2018, the TARC is no longer available for Family Fun Nights. 

Spring 2018 Schedule

  • Feb. 9 — Society of Physics Students
  • Feb. 16 — NEA Big Read book “Station Eleven,” hosted by Sigma Tau Delta English fraternity and Alpha Psi Omega theater fraternity
  • March 16 — Creativity Festival, hosted by Lambda Kappa
  • March 23 — Racine Zoo
  • April 6 — Chemistry Club
  • April 13 — Around the World


Admission to Friday Fun Night at Carthage is free. 


Visitors are welcome to park in specially marked visitor spaces in the Lentz Hall Parking Lot or South Upper Parking Lot. Visitors may also park in the South Lower Lot, North Parking Lots, or Pike River Lot.
