Families are not alone in paying for a Carthage education. At Carthage, we view financing as a partnership — one that involves parents, students, and assistance from a variety of supporting resources.

The Office of Student Financial Services, comprised of our financial aid and student accounts teams, is committed to helping families identify the right mix of resources to make Carthage affordable. Those resources include Carthage, the federal government, and some state governments. Here, you’ll find more information about scholarships, grants, employment opportunities, and loan processing.

Applying for aid: Complete the FAFSA

The FAFSA will open on Dec. 1, 2023, for the 2024-25 academic year. Carthage’s FAFSA code is 003839.
