Can I purchase tickets on the night of an event?

We recommend purchasing tickets in advance to secure preferred seating for reserved events. Tickets purchased one hour prior to the event will be selected by the Box Office at best available seating.

Where do I get my Will Call tickets?

Will Call tickets are available for pick-up in the lobby beginning one hour prior to the event with a photo ID. Will Call tickets must be paid in advance. Box Office cannot hold tickets without payment.

Are group tickets available?

Special benefits and discounts are available for group ticket purchases. To order tickets for a group 10 or more, contact the Ensemble and Events Manager at 262-551-6215. 

Do you provide refunds or exchange tickets?

All sales are final. No requests for cancellations, exchanges, or refunds are accepted unless you have ticket insurance.

If the event is cancelled, the Carthage Fine Arts Box Office will make every effort to contact patrons via email or phone. Refunds on tickets purchased are made for a cancelled or postponed event only.

How does ticket insurance work?

Consider purchasing ticket insurance to cover your complete transaction (not including fees) for $10 at the time of your original purchase. Ticket insurance enables you to receive a full refund for an event up to 24 hours prior to the performance start time for the tickets in that transaction. Without ticket insurance, all sales are final and no refunds are allowed. Tickets eligible for refund will be processed once the physical tickets are returned to the box office. Ticket insurance is not taxable.

What payment methods are accepted?

Carthage accepts American Express, Discover, MasterCard, and Visa credit cards; checks made out to “Carthage College”; and cash (please no bills larger than $20).

The Carthage Fine Arts Box Office and the Online Box Office uses Address Verification System (AVS) to verify the address of a person claiming to own a credit card. The system checks the billing address provided by the user with the address on file at the credit card company. Please remember to use the proper billing address when purchasing tickets with a credit card.

Are there additional ticket fees?

  • All online orders are subject to a $1.00 per ticket fee.
  • An additional delivery fee of $2.00 will be charged to mail tickets. (We will not mail tickets 7 days prior to the event.)
  • Ticket exchanges to the same event but different date are $2.00 per order. 

What happens if I arrive late?

Out of courtesy to the artist(s) and patrons, anyone arriving after the performance has started will be seated at the discretion of house managers.

Are children welcome?

We welcome children old enough to enjoy our events. Please note, all guests regardless of age are required to have a ticket.

Where do I park when attending Carthage fine arts event?

Visitor parking is available in South Lower, Lentz, and North Lots. See campus map.

Do you offer assisted hearing technology? 

Yes. To use the assisted hearing technology, download the “Audiofetch” app, then connect to the Audiofetch WiFi signal and listen to events through your headphones at your preferred volume. Up to 100 people can listen at a time.  Please note: Audiofetch only works within Wartburg Theatre and is only active during shows and events. If anyone needs Audiofetch at other times, such as during classes or rehearsals in Wartburg Theatre, please speak with the instructor or contact the theatre faculty for assistance. Please remember to bring your own headphones.
