Through the Parents Fund, current and past parents of Carthage students unite to further the student educational experience. The Parents Fund helps make student research possible, aids community service initiatives, allows Carthage musical groups to tour the country, and more. Contributions help support a variety of initiatives.
This year’s initiatives include:
The Bridge Fund
The Bridge Fund provides emergency funding for students whose financial situation changes midyear. Without supplemental aid, these students would be forced to discontinue their Carthage education.

Summer Undergraduate Research Experience (SURE)
A hallmark of the Carthage experience, this program offers students across academic divisions the opportunity to engage in collaborative research with professors. Students work closely with a faculty mentor on a new or developing line of research.

The Student Service Fund
The Student Service Fund supports student-driven initiatives to effect positive change in the world, from local to international endeavors. Student organization efforts include mentoring “at risk” children in the Kenosha and Racine communities, bringing medicine and resources to developing nations, and going across the country to provide aid to areas in need.
