Join us in celebrating Carthage Giving Day on Thursday, April 5, 2018! We’re marking the occasion with special events on campus, and with alumni gatherings around the country.

On-Campus Giving Day Events

7:30-10 a.m.

#redandready Grab and Go Breakfast
Clausen Center Atrium
Get #redandready for your day with complimentary donuts, muffins, and other grab-and-go snacks on the way to class. 

11:45 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Athletic Team Trivia Showdown
Campbell Student Union
Join Carthage athletic teams in a trivia and activity challenge competition for bragging rights with President Swallow and Carthage Trustee David Wiers ’98. Emceed by Phil Burwell, Director of Athletic Communications.

12:45-1:30 p.m.

Call in to Speak with President Swallow
Call 262-551-2300 from 12:45 to 1:30 p.m. Thursday, April 5, to talk to Carthage President John Swallow and make your gift. 

1-4 p.m.

Celebrate Carthage
Campbell Student Union
Enjoy performances by talented students and faculty, take selfies with Torchie, grab some Carthage swag, and snag a few treats. The Union will have everything you could want on Giving Day. Performers and guests include Phineas Marr, the Martial Arts Club, the President’s Quartet, and biology professor Angela Dassow with her unexpectedly lovable critter friends.

Robotic Boxing
Campbell Student Union
Challenge a friend to some “rock ‘em sock ‘em” fun with these mechanical boxing droids.

4:30-5:30 p.m.

“On the Red Carpet”
Campbell Student Union
Walk the red carpet to a photo area and grab a quick snack from the mac and cheese or ice cream sundae bars. Then challenge a friend to Robotic Boxing.

Off-Campus Giving Day Regional Events

Carthage alumni across the country are invited to celebrate Carthage Giving Day at special events in various cities on Thursday, April 5. Cost to attend is just $10, and your ticket includes a complimentary drink, appetizers, and a $5 gift to the Carthage Fund. Attending an event means you’re making a Giving Day gift, and your gift will be counted toward our Giving Day goals.
