ABOUT THIS COURSE:
This study abroad offers students the opportunity to address unmet community needs of personal interest that are related to areas such as poverty, health care, education, environment, in a South Africa community. Students learn about civic engagement and community issues globally affecting marginalized populations within the context of the Eshowe community and work in a school. Students will draw upon their service experiences to promote sustainable change, not charity.
