WSGC Student Spotlight: Julia Kalish

Congratulations to this week’s #WSGCStudentSpotlight, Julia Kalis Julia is the recipient of an Elijah High-Altitude Balloon Research Scholarship and is currently a sophomore studying Biomedical Engineering at Milwaukee School of Engineering.

Julia also works as an Office Assistant for the Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Department. In this role, she provides customer service to students and staff. In addition to her job, Julia is also the treasurer of the school’s NASA Robotics Mining Competition team. As a member of the team, she frequently uses SolidWorks to CAD parts for the robot. Further adding to her experience in robotics, she served as a leader on her school district’s FIRST FRC team. Julia’s interests and hobbies consist of medical imaging and diagnostic equipment, circuits, 3D printing, and playing clarinet in Milwaukee School of Engineering’s concert band.
