Black Student Union presents: ‘Uncomfortable Conversations’

By: Brianna Wofford

Time: 4:00pm - 6:00pm CST February 9

Location: WOH’s Place (Todd Wehr Center)

In the light of the recent acts of racism on campus, Black Student Union is offering students the opportunity to have your voices heard, as well as be the listener to others from 4 to 6 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 9 in WOH’s Place, Todd Wehr Center.

Alongside BSU and Sigma Upsilon of UW-Parkside, we will hold an open discussion with our peers, staff, faculty, and administration to find common grounds in creating a campus that is racially inclusive and equal. We are not looking to belittle opinions or beliefs. The goal is to diminish the cultural animosity of the community in which we live, in hopes of fighting the increasing levels of disrespect that has been publicly displayed.

This is an open discussion for all students! BSU welcomes you!
