Center for Children’s Literature Welcomes Author Barb Rosenstock

The Center for Children’s Literature and the Kenosha Public Library are proud to present Barb Rosenstock. She will give a presentation at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 20, 2019 at the Southwest Library—7979 38th Avenue, Kenosha, Wis.

Ms. Rosenstock is a children’s author who likes true stories about real people. She mixes fascinating research and playful language into picture books that bring the people of history to life.

Her book, “The Noisy Paint Box”, about artist Vasya Kandinsky, was awarded a Caldecott Honor in 2015.

Other titles include “The Secret Kingdom,” “Vincent Can’t Sleep,” “Dorothea’s Eyes,” “Ben Franklin’s Big Splash,” “Thomas Jefferson Builds A Library,” and many more.

Ms. Rosenstock loves to share tips about writing. This program for adults will conclude with a book sale and author signing.
