Time: 5:00pm - 7:00pm CST January 15
Location: Hedberg Library ROOM 170
The Hedberg Library is launching their very own Silent Book Club chapter, and everyone’s invited! During J-Term, the club will meet from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesdays in room 170 (the yellow room) of the Hedberg Library. This is the book club for introverts.
Silent Book Club is a space for people to get together and read as a community. The overarching goal of Silent Book Club is to create a community of readers who socialize and read amongst one another. You can bring whatever book you’d like, or you can pick one up in the library. And yes, of course, you can bring your homework.
The anticipated itinerary is as follows:
- 5-5:30 p.m. — People arrive, drinks/food, share what you are reading
- 5:30-6:30 p.m. — Quiet reading hour
- 6:30-7:00 p.m. — Optional socializing, or just keep reading
Feel free to show up late or leave early.
Snacks will be provided.
