Family Fun Night: Physics of a Carnival

Time: 6:00pm - 7:30pm CST February 21

Location: Hedberg Library

Families are invited to Family Fun Night Friday, Feb 21 to enjoy fun and educational activities in Hedberg Library, browse the collection in the Center for Children’s Literature, and use the library computers.

Why do roller coaster rides always start with a big hill? What rides use a centripetal force? What is Newton’s Law of Motion? Carthage’s Society of Physics Students will answer these questions about roller coasters and more at Family Fun Night.

This event is suitable for children ages four and up.

Themed activities take place from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Families are welcome to use the library from 6 to 8 p.m.
