Martin Luther King, Jr. Day: Community Conversations

Time: 2:45pm - 4:00pm CST January 18

Location: Online

First-year students are invited to meet as a cohort with their ARISE equity coach from 2:45 to 4 p.m. Monday, Jan. 18, online for Community Conversations.

Students who have completed their first year already will meet in small groups with a facilitator from the Equity and Inclusion Committee. These community conversations will focus on the theme of moving from spirit to action — conversations about the challenges and opportunities for becoming change agents in the world.

  • First-year ARISE students will receive a Zoom or Google Meet link from their ARISE Equity Coach.
  • Other students, faculty, and staff participants, join the group Zoom conversation.
