Want to learn about launching your career in industry, and getting a master’s degree and a paycheck at the same time? Attend an online live presentation and information session/Q&A about the Knight Graduate Internship Program from noon to 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 15, on Zoom.
The session is hosted by the University of Oregon Alumni Network Manager Betsy Tanenbaum and five Carthage alumni. Learn how our alumni launched their careers through the Knight Campus Graduate Internship Program and about their new exciting careers!
This unique program (ranked the top of its kind in the country) combines intensive lab and coursework with professional skills development to prepare you for a 9-month paid internship in industry. Historically, close to 98 percent of students successfully complete internships and close to 90 percent of those land regular jobs within three months of completing the internship. Average annualized internship compensation so far this year is over $60,000.
There are master’s degrees in applied physics, chemistry, and biology. Tracks include: semiconductors, optics, polymers and molecular sensors, and a sister program in bioinformatics.
