Time: February 22 - February 26
Location: H. F. Johnson Gallery of Art
The H. F. Johnson Gallery of Art presents the Annual Student Art Show now through Friday, Feb. 26. This exhibition is open to Carthage faculty, staff, and students only, and classes are welcome to make reservations to attend the exhibit. There is no opening reception.
Each year, all Carthage students are invited to submit artwork to be juried by a guest artist or critic. A breadth of media is represented in this exhibition, including painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, printmaking, ceramics, video, audio, and installations. This year’s guest jurors are Marco Rosichelli and Justin Shaw, professors of art from the University of Central Missouri, concurrently featured in the H. F. Johnson Gallery’s exhibition “Two Men and a Truck.” Students featured in the exhibition are eligible to receive financial prize accolades, including “Best of Show” and a special “Purchase Award.”
