Movie and Discussion: ‘Of Many: Then and Now’

The Carthage Religion Department and Peace Catalyst International will have a movie screening and discussion of “Of Many: Then and Now” at 4:15 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 1, in the Niemann Media Theater.

The documentary narrates the astonishing and transformative relationship between an orthodox Jewish rabbi and a Muslim imam who serve as chaplains at New York University. We witness young Jewish and Muslim students cooperating in harmony and overcoming long-standing misunderstandings and prejudices through a series of journeys to communities struck by natural disasters. This documentary offers an inspiring and hopeful story in these difficult times.
