MSA/A Movie Night: ‘My Name is Khan’

Time: 5:30pm - 8:30pm CST November 29

Location: Campbell Student Union Auditorium

Muslim Society Awareness/Association will showcase the movie “My Name is Khan” from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 29, in the Campbell Student Union Auditorium. There will be pizza and popcorn to enjoy during the screening!

“My Name is Khan” is a Bollywood movie set in the United States and centers upon Rizwan Khan, an Indian Muslim man who has Asperger Syndrome. He falls in love, gets married, and has a happy life until 9/11, when attitudes towards Muslims change. After a series of tragic events, Rizwan decides to embark on an inspiring journey across the US to speak with the president. 

The Muslim Society Awareness/Association is an all inclusive club in which people can come together to learn more about the religion of Islam! You do not have to be Muslim to join!
