TARC Class: Learn to Lift

Time: 4:30pm - 5:30pm CST January 7, 2014

Location: N. E. Tarble Athletic and Recreation Center, Semler Fitness Center

Looking for something new to do over J-Term? Check out the new group fitness classes in the TARC. All classes are held from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. in the Semler Fitness Center. Email tprochnow@carthage.edu to sign up.

Monday: Team Limits
Team Limits is a high-intensity fitness class inspired by BodyPump and Crossfit, along with HIIT and Tabata interval principles. Team Limits is not for everyone, but it will push you to the limits. Registration is limited.

Tuesday: Learn to Lift
Learn to Lift aims to teach participants how to properly implement a strength-training program. Each class will utilize resistance methods in a safe way to help build muscle and burn fat. Learn to Lift is open to all fitness levels. Registration is limited.

Wednesday: TRX Suspension Training
Learn how to use the new TRX straps. This class will challenge your core in ways you never thought possible using your body weight and controlled movements. TRX is open to all fitness levels. Registration is limited.

Thursday: Team Fit
Team Fit focuses on fat burning and cardio as trainers use body weight exercises to enhance participants’ fitness levels. All fitness levels are welcome for Team Fit. Registration is open, but be sure to sign up for updates.
