Certificate parameters: Certificates are limited to one 4-credit tuition-free graduate course per cooperating teacher. After the first free course, subsequent certificates issued to the same cooperating teacher will entitle them to a 50% tuition discount, up to a total of three additional courses, each of which must be used within 12 months of date of issue.. The maximum number of tuition-free plus tuition-reduced certificates that can count toward the M.Ed. degree, add-on certification, or professional development coursework, i.e., 5000-level courses, is four. Each certificate is subject to seat availability. Note: This program goes into effect as of the fall semester of the 2019-20 academic year.
