Professor Chris Renaud was invited by National Geographic Expeditions to be an “Expert” for an upcoming educational tour “Inside Italy.”

Participants spend 11 days in June exploring the rich history of Tuscany, beginning with the famed Cinque Terre. Prof. Renaud will then lead the group through the cultural centers of Florence and Siena before a final stop in Rome, which includes a private after-hours visit to the Sistine Chapel.

In addition to providing her expertise in Roman topography and archaeology, Prof. Renaud will also present on the art, architecture, and history of medieval and renaissance Italy.
