The departments of Political Science and Communication and Digital Media invite you to join them to watch the first Presidential Debate on Monday, Sept. 26, at 8 p.m. in Niemann Media Theater (lower level of Hedberg Library).

The debate runs for 90 minutes and will be followed by a short discussion of issues raised by the candidates.

Some additional on-campus political events this fall:

Monday, Oct. 10:
Veteran political analyst and broadcaster Mike Gousha will offer insight into the major contests, as well as Congressional and legislative races. He’ll also discuss what the future holds for some of Wisconsin’s most prominent political figures. He will speak at 6 p.m. in the Campbell Student Union Auditorium.

Monday, Oct. 17:
Charles Franklin, Director of the Marquette Law School Poll, will discuss polling and the state of the Wisconsin and national elections. He will speak at 7 p.m. in Niemann Media Theater.
