The 2016-2017 WSGC Scholarships and Research Fellowships are open for application. There are five different funding programs: three for Undergraduate Students and two for Graduate Students. Undergraduates and Graduates completing degrees in STEM or Aerospace studies are eligible to apply. Women, persons with disabilities, and members of minority groups are encouraged to submit an application. For all student funding programs, applicants must be a U.S. citizen, enrolled full time at a WSGC college or university, and demonstrate a 3.0 GPA minimum. All applications must be completed online by February 6th, 2017.

Wisconsin Space Grant Consortium Undergraduate Scholarship (UGS): The UGS award is $2,000 for students pursing space science, aerospace, or other space-related studies. High school seniors and college freshman are encouraged to apply.

Wisconsin Space Grant Consortium Undergraduate Research (UGR): The UGR award is up to $4,000 for students conducting research related to NASA initiatives. Sophomores and juniors are encouraged to apply.

Wisconsin Space Grant Consortium STEM Bridge Scholarship (SBS): The SBS award is a $1,000 renewable scholarship for students who identify as a member of a federally recognized minority group. Available to sophomores only.

Wisconsin Space Grant Consortium Graduate & Professional Research Fellowship Program (RFP): The RFP awards up to $5,000 to students enrolled in Graduate or Professional degree programs. This provides partial research fellowship awards to support students who are pursing aerospace, space science, or other space-related independent research or design. Applicants must demonstrate an above average GRE, MCAT, or equivalent scores. RFP is available to students who applied to or are admitted to any WSGC graduate or professional degree program.

Dr. Laurel Salton Clark Memorial Research Fellowship (LSC): The LSC award is up to $5,000 for students in Graduate or Professional degree programs pursuing research or engineering design in an environmental or life science field related to space or aerospace. The award is especially designed for individuals showing qualities of leadership, intellectual balance, and a commitment to improving humanity. Applicants must demonstrate an above average GRE, MCAT, or equivalent scores. LSC is available to students who applied to or are admitted to any WSGC graduate or professional degree program.
