New Spring course on Organizational Technology
What is organizational technology? How do companies, schools, NFPs and other organizations implement new technologies? What steps and components lead to success?
This new course, offered during the Spring term will explore those questions and give students from any discipline insight into what makes up a successful technology initiative.
Students will look at case studies and learn to write a Request for Proposal. The goal is to prepare students to understand the factors to consider when making technology decisions, what usually gets overlooked, and how to make sure all aspects of organizational culture are taken into consideration.
A great course for students in any discipline, people interested in IT careers or starting their own business. The course will be offered on Tuesday evenings, and taught by Carol Sabbar in an interactive format, including various guests and real-world examples. This is a 4-credit elective GNR 200A 01.
