Dr. Ted Lorenc, associate professor at Rosalind Franklin University, will visit with pre-health and pre-medical students on Monday, Sept. 25 in the Integrated Sciences Pavilion inside the David A. Straz Jr. Center for the Natural and Social Sciences.

Currently, Dr. Lorenc is the site director for the Internal Medicine Clerkship at Centegra Health System, director of Medical Education at Centegra, and a member (recently retired co-chair) of the admissions committee for the Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University. He earned his B.S. in Biology at Loyola University and his M.D. at the University of Illinois, Chicago, and has been a clinical instructor at both Rosalind Franklin and the University of Illinois, Chicago.

Dr. Lorenc will be available to answer questions about a career as a physician, as well as how to get into and succeed in medical school. Beginning at 4 p.m., Dr. Lorenc will speak with the general pre-health community, and at 4:45 p.m., he will speak with pre-medical students who recently applied to medical school or who intend to apply next summer.
