The Department of Nursing at Carthage College seeks applicants for a full-time tenure-track faculty position beginning August 2018.

The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated and self-directed educator who values teaching in a small, student-focused program with faculty who are committed to providing high-quality, resourceful, and innovative professional nursing education. Successful candidates also will demonstrate evidence of teaching experience, and be competent in the effective use of technology and other innovative classroom strategies. The candidate will also be expected to engage in an area of scholarship that would hold potential for including undergraduates in the experience.

The Department of Nursing and Carthage College are notably interested in qualified candidates who can contribute, through their research, teaching, and/or service, to the diversity and distinction of the academic community.

Qualified candidates will have a doctoral degree in nursing or a related field.  If the doctorate is not in nursing, the applicant must have a master’s degree in nursing and hold or be eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Wisconsin. Candidates with varied clinical and/or research backgrounds are encouraged to apply.  Interviews for this position will commence in February 2018 with a final selection decision made by April 2018.
