Enactus is excited to host three events on Tuesday, Nov. 7. These events are part of the Kenosha Startup Week initiative - a collection of events and programs designed to promote entrepreneurship throughout Southeastern Wisconsin.

Here is the schedule of events:

  • The “Business Startup Checklist” will take place from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Todd Wehr Center. A local CPA firm will join us to discuss a step-by-step process of starting a business. This will be the fundamental and detailed checklist on what potential start-ups need to complete in order to be successful. This event is free and includes lunch, but advance  registration is required. Register today  
  • “Funding and Insuring Your Startup” will begin at 5 p.m. in the Campbell Student Union with an informal networking session. Presentations from Arlene Martin of Martin Financial Resources and Trent Musser of North Western Mutual Bank will begin at 5:30 p.m. These presentations will discuss the means of achieving funding to start or run a business and tools for investing, as well as insurance and safety measures needed to protect a company. This presentation is free, but registration is required. Register today
  • The “Quick Pitch Competition” will start at 6:30 p.m. in the Campbell Student Union Auditorium with an informal networking session. At 7 p.m., community members and students are invited to pitch their business ideas (whether at market or still in development) to a panel of judges. Even if you do not have a business idea to present, you are invited to be an audience member. This event and is free, but registration is required. Register today
