The Athletic Training Education Program at Carthage seeks qualified applicants for a Clinical Education Coordinator, Assistant Professor of Athletic Training beginning August 2018. The Clinical Education Coordinator, Assistant Professor of Athletic Training is an academic faculty position within the Exercise & Sports Science Department. The Clinical Education Coordinator reports to the Program Director for Athletic Training Education and the Dean of the Division of Professional Studies.

This position requires the ability and willingness to teach athletic training classes; coordinate student clinical progression, clinical site management and student evaluations; foster preceptor relationships through training, site visits, and evaluation summaries; and actively participate in the re-evaluation of the ATEP goals and outcomes.

Candidates with a terminal degree (Ed.D., Ph.D. or DAT) and relevant professional experience are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will have combined teaching and clinical expertise in the field of athletic training education.
