Elf on the Shelf is back and begins TODAY! And this year’s elf’s name is…

Carthage’s Elf on the Shelf is back and begins today!

Last week we asked you for name suggestions and this year’s elf’s name is….Ralphie! (You all must love “A Christmas Story”!)

Starting today, there will be 12 weekdays (get it? Twelve days of Christmas?) until the beginning of finals and we’re celebrating each one with an Elf on the Shelf giveaway to help relieve some finals-related stress. Ralphie will be hiding in a different spot each of those 12 days, if you spot him, you could win Carthage gear or gift cards, just in time for the holidays.

Here’s how to play:

• Spot Ralphie on campus between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. every weekday Dec. 4-19.
• Take Ralphie’s picture and send it to bridge@carthage.edu. If you’re a student, include your name and expected year of graduation. If you’re a faculty or staff member, include your title. Make sure you send in your entry by 4 p.m.
• Look on The Bridge, www.carthage.edu/bridge, the next morning to see if you won.

We’ll draw a winner from everyone who entered and announce the winner on The Bridge the next morning. Ralphie will have a new hiding spot every day, so we’ll have a new winner every day.
