Major change for reserving Writing Center, Testing Center, research librarian, and academic coaching sessions
Are you or have you been a Writing Center, Testing Center, or Research Librarian client? If so, there is a major change to note with WCOnline accounts:
The good news is that Carthage students will now log in to the WCOnline appointment scheduling program with their Carthage credentials rather than setting up and using a separate account, username, password. In other words, you will now sign in with your Carthage user name only (instead of your entire email address), and your password will match your Carthage password. When you change/reset your Carthage password through the self-service password changer, the password change will sync with WCOnline as well. Additionally, your previous WCOnline activity/appointments have been merged and are accessible through your account.
So what’s the bad news? If your existing WCOnline account was created with a non-Carthage email address, you will be prompted to re-register with your Carthage credentials. (You will no longer have access to your previous WCOnline activity/appointments.)
Students who are first time WCOnline users will simply log in via the WCOnline interface using their Carthage username and password, and select the schedule for the support service they wish to utilize (just like normal). These students will be prompted to finish registration after logging in, with no option to change email addresses or passwords.
We look forward to assisting you this semester!
