The Carthage Curling Club picks up steam towards the Olympic season!

Student curler Sage O’Brien was interviewed by the Kenosha News about her experiences curling, as part of a “learn-to-curl” event earlier this month. “It’s something you can play with your friends, and practice time is flexible,” she told the reporter. 

Student curler Peter Smith has dedicated himself to the sport, playing regularly in leagues at the Racine Curling Club. On Jan. 23, his team, led by Professor Haley Yaple, earned first place in their league and brought home gold pins as souvenirs of their victory.
