Do you have what it takes to make it through a professional meeting over dinner or lunch interview? Join other classmates at the Etiquette Dinner from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 27, in the Todd Wehr Center, Jockey B to learn what it takes to become a polished professional from with Lyn Zimmerman, owner, event designer, and etiquette consultant at Essentials Details, LLC. This event is beneficial to all academic disciplines.

This dinner will provide you with the unique opportunity to learn about professional etiquette and attire when on an interview or at a business meeting where a meal is involved. The workshop will take place while you dine on a three course meal. There will also be the opportunity to network with Carthage alumni!

Professional development is critical for student’s future success. Training in areas provided at this dinner are no longer just considered an advantage, but a requirement for today’s competitive job market.

What you will learn:

  • What to wear in a professional setting

  • What to order

  • How to properly use different utensils

  • Appropriate topics of conversation

  • And, everything in between!

Please dress in professional business casual attire or better. This event is hosted by Career Services, the Alumni Office, and the Division of Student Affairs. The cost to attend the Etiquette Dinner is $7.
