Applications for summer 2018 housing due TODAY

The Office of Residential Life is excited to offer a summer housing program for students interested in engaging and developing themselves as students over the summer. Students remaining on campus during the summer of 2018 will reside on the third and fourth floor of Denhart Hall.
Who is eligible to apply for summer housing?
You must be a current or graduating Carthage student, and you must meet one of the following criteria:
- Be enrolled in a summer course at Carthage
- Be a participant in the SURE program
- Be a participant in the Urban Teacher Preparation Program
- Be a student employee for an on-campus position
Priority is given to students meeting one of the criteria above. Students who are participating in an internship off campus will be considered, but not given first priority for summer housing. Please note that students working on campus are required to work 20 hours a week during their on-campus summer employment.
How do I apply for summer housing? When is the deadline to apply?
You must complete a summer housing application to be considered for summer housing. The deadline to apply is 6 p.m. on Friday, April 20. (All students requesting summer housing after April 20 must email the Office of Residential Life.)
Verification from a current faculty/staff member or supervisor is also required as part of the application process. Please be aware that space is limited for summer housing. Applications will be approved on a space-available basis.

Where will I live?
Summer students will reside in Denhart Hall. Students staying over the summer will start transitioning to their summer housing assignment between May 23 and May 28. Students will be notified by the Office of Residential Life of when your summer housing assignment becomes available. If students have any questions in regards to summer housing, please email email the Office of Residential Life.
