The Hedberg Library will host “Documentary Film Fridays” during the month of April in the Niemann Media Theater. Doors open at 11:30 a.m., and the film starts at 11:50 a.m. There will be free popcorn as well as a discussion after the movie. Join us for:

  • April 27 — “70 Acres in Chicago: Cabrini Green” (59 minutes) — Filmed over a period of 20 years, this film chronicles the demolition of Chicago Cabrini Green public housing development, the clearing of an African-American community, and the building of mixed-income communities.
