A special In Sisterhood Celebration was hosted at the home of Prof. Michele Hancock on May 20, to support fellowship among and between the women of diverse backgrounds, nationalities, and religion.

A group of 30 young ladies attended this event and enjoyed informal conversations with Carthage administrators, professors, staff, and Hancock family members. The students dined on a full menu of barbecued meat, side dishes, and desserts. The atmosphere was relaxed and joyful.

One Carthage student commented, “The timing was perfect. It’s a nice break from studying for a few hours.” Another student said this event was “a wonderful way to meet and relax with such a diverse group of women.”
