Technology reminders from Library and Information Services

As you prepare for your return to campus, Library and Information Services has a few reminders:

• No printer, no problem! We have added three new printer/copier machines around campus, so you should be able to address your printing needs without having a printer in your room. Wireless printers will not work, so don’t bring a printer unless the wifi signal can be disabled and you can connect to it with a USB cable.
• Take advantage of  our access to Microsoft Office 365 and Symantec anti-virus at no charge. Details are at www.carthage.edu/library/students/
• Do not bring a router to campus as these are not allowed.
• Hedberg Library will be open to help you with your technology and library questions from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sept. 1 and from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Sept. 2-4. Regular semester hours begin on Wednesday, Sept. 5. For complete hours, go to www.carthage.edu/library and scroll to the bottom of the page.
