Free reception and lecture in Chicago March 4: “Teaching Science in the 21st Century”

Carthage’s Wonder Meets Wisdom Lecture Series features Carthage faculty speaking on a variety of topics. Lectures will be held in such cities as Milwaukee and Chicago. Carthage alumni, faculty, students, staff, parents, and friends are cordially invited.

The second lecture of the 2014 series will be held on Tuesday, March 4. Physics Professor Kevin Crosby and Biology Professor Deanna Byrnes will speak on “Teaching Science in the 21st Century” at the University Center Conference Chicago, 525 S. State St., in Chicago.

The evening begins at 5:30 p.m. with a complimentary reception of appetizers and soda. The presentation begins at 6 p.m. There is no cost to attend, but spots are limited. Register below or please call 262-551-2137.
