The Writing Center will be available during J-Term
As always, the Writing Center is happy to offer assistance to students during J-Term. This year, however, our process will be slightly different. Instead of scheduling your sessions through WCOnline, we are asking that you send your requests for Writing Center sessions to our Writing Center email account, email@example.com. This site will be checked three times a day, so you should not have to wait long for a response from a J-Term Writing Fellow.
In the body of your email, include all of the following information:
- Describe the assignment — thesis, argumentative essay, film review, etc.
- Describe specific areas or issues you want to address in your paper.
- Give us the name and number of the course, the name of the professor for the course, and the professor’s email address.
- Most importantly, list three days and times that you would like to schedule your Writing Center session. If you are only available on one day, send us a list of times on that day. The Writing Fellow will confirm one of those times with you, or suggest alternatives should that be necessary. Sessions will be held in the Writing Center unless otherwise arranged.
