Students: Attend the WorkForce Career Fair and a Zywave networking event TODAY

February 19, 2019

The Aspire Center and the Office of Alumni Relations invite students to attend two professional development events on Tuesday, Feb. 19. We will be visiting the largest college career fair in Wisconsin followed by a networking event at Zywave. This is an excellent opportunity to network and learn from alumni about their career experiences in an informal setting.

Here are the details:

WorkForce Fair
3-6 p.m.
Wisconsin State Fair Park Exposition Center, 8200 W Greenfield Ave, West Allis, Wis.

Networking Event
6:45-8:30 p.m.
Zywave, 10100 W Innovation Dr. #300, Milwaukee, Wis.

Food and drinks will be provided at the networking event. Carthage will provide transportation to both events. The bus will leave Carthage at 2:15 p.m. and return to campus at 9:30 p.m. Students will meet at the flagpole in front of the Todd Wehr Center at 2:15 p.m. You are expected to return to Carthage on the bus.

Dress Code Policy
The WorkForce Fair requires professional attire of its job seekers. Business casual is crisp, neat, and is classic rather than trendy. Clothing should be neither very tight nor very loose. Khaki or dark pants that are neatly pressed and a pressed long-sleeved, buttoned solid shirt are always good choices. A good rule of thumb is to dress for the status of the job that you want, not the place you are at currently. If a job seeker is in extreme violation of the dress code policy, WIPCCC staff may ask him/her to leave the career fair.
