Maham Ali ?19 with her award from the Mock Trial tournament at Loras College in Jan. 2019. In its final invitational tournament of the 2018-19 season, the Carthage Mock Trial team took several awards. Maham Ali ’19 won an award for Outstanding Plaintiff Attorney and Joshua Kundert ’19 won an award for Outstanding Plaintiff Witness in this tournament hosted by Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa on Jan. 24 through 26.

Carthage Red finished the very competitive tournament tied for eleventh place out of 38 teams. Maham and Joshua are co-captains of the Red Team.   

Nicole Kipnegetich ’20 joined the Red Team for the Loras Tournament. Black Team captains William Fabian ’22 and Kaitlyn Richardson ’21 also participated at Loras.

Mock Trial is a course in Criminal Justice (CRJ 3300) which is taught each fall by Professor Michael Phegley (MGT/MKT). Students of all majors are welcome to participate.
