Diversity Institute: Tuesday, March 11

Carthage students are invited to join Multicultural Affairs for the second annual Diversity Institute March 10-13. Here’s a look at the lineup for Tuesday, March 11. All sessions will be held in the Campbell Student Union Auditorium.

4-5:15 p.m.
Real Men of Genius

A look at the issues facing college males as they search for identity and clarity as to what it means to be a “real” man. In the world we live in college males are challenged daily with choices between playing with tech toys and watching sports to having to face the realities of a changing definition of masculinity and relationships and learning to chart their own destiny. This program will help define these challenges, encourage a more open, inclusive mindset, and support the concept of staying true to your “real” self.

When does it happen? When is it that you start wondering if your identity is good enough? In the Bible it states that God created us all (male and female) in God’s image. Can that really mean everyone? Let’s talk about it.
