As we move past midterm, please take the time to encourage your students to take advantage of the Writing Center’s services.

Open seven days a week, the Writing Center offers free one-on-one peer writing assistance to all Carthage students at all skill levels, in any discipline, and at any stage in the writing process. Students reserve Writing Center sessions through our online scheduling system, WCOnline.

Also, it’s not too late to schedule a Writing Center class visit or workshop. Conducted by student Writing Fellows, class visits provide a 10-minute overview of the Writing Center.  A workshop, typically about 30 minutes in length, covers a writing topic requested by the instructor, and might cover citation styles, thesis development, proofreading skills, and more. Writing Fellows can also assist you with a peer review workshop or other writing-related class activity.

Directions for accessing our class visit/tour request form can be found on our website.
