Carthage modern language students engage in community outreach with Dimensions of Learning Academy
Associate professor Isabel Rivero-Vilá of the Modern Languages Department and the principal of Dimensions of Learning Academy Diana Pearson started a collaboration last fall that encourages Carthage’s French and Spanish majors and minors to go to Dimensions to encourage K-12 grade students to learn a new language with the Duolingo application.
Carthage students share their love of learning a new language and explain exciting study abroad experiences to the students, and they all learn a new language with this fun application.
Our students love this experience and seeing the excitement the Dimensions’ students have for learning new languages with the Duolingo app!
