Dear Colleagues,

It is with mixed emotions that we announce that Evan Frejo, first year advisor in the Center for Student Success, has accepted a new position as an academic advisor at George Mason University in the greater Washington D.C. area.

Please join us in wishing Evan farewell from 3 to 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 22 in the Campbell Student Union fireplace lounge. Evan’s last day at Carthage will be Friday, May 31.

In his new role as an academic advisor, Evan will advise students in computer science across all four years of their college experience and expand on his service to international students. He is excited about this next chapter!

Evan began his time in the Center for Student Success at Carthage in January 2017, where he has served as a professional advisor and instructor for College Success Seminar for first-time freshmen in the Division of Arts and Humanities.

Evan has also assisted with student outreach through the campus’s Early Alert System, led the coordination of the International Student Pre-Orientation, and advised several student organizations.
