Prof. Janet Levey receives prestigious award
Professor Janet Levey, associate professor of nursing, has received the Best Article of 2018 award from Nursing Education Perspectives. Her paper, entitled “Universal Design for Instruction in Nursing Education: An Integrative Review,” was chosen because of the paper’s significance to nursing education research; its clarity and quality of writing; engaging writing style; sound conceptualization; forward-thinking; depth and scope of the research; uniqueness; and popularity based on website metrics.
The work was chosen from all submitted papers for 2018. Nursing Education Perspectives is the research journal of the National League for Nursing and widely read among nursing academics.
Prof. Levey will receive the award at the National League for Nursing’s 2019 Educational Summit in Washington D.C. this coming September. Well done, Prof. Levey!
